Kachumbala rock, Bukedea district in Eastern Uganda. Eastern Uganda is famous for these incredible rock formations. The land is flat and the predominant tribe of the region is Ateso. They are cattle keepers and rear other livestock such as goats, sheep, turkeys, hens, etc. Ateso tribes depend on agriculture and farming for livelihood.
DLU work with deaf people and their families in local communities, and is based in remote villages in three districts in eastern Uganda: Bukedea, Ngora and Kumi. DLU is supporting agricultural activities for sustainable living.
